France-UK Border Research presents research documenting the situation for displaced people at the France-UK border.
France-UK Border Research needed new branding to support the development of their website and digital database documenting the situation for displaced people at the France-UK border.
A simple logo was developed. It incorporates an angled space in-between the words ‘France’ and ‘UK’ to highlight the border between the two countries. A limited colour palette was selected with bold orange representing land, and teal and pale blue colours representing the sea. Wavy lines were introduced to add a pattern and texture to the brand, and once again to represent the sea border.
The website is a space for France-UK Border Research to introduce the work they do. But most importantly, it hosts their comprehensive database containing 650+ pieces of research relating to the situation facing people on the move at the France-UK Border. The database incorporates search and filter functionality allowing their visitors to locate specific research by searching for keywords, dates or specific categories.
The website was built using the Wordpress CMS. It is now managed and updated internally by the France-UK Border Research team using the intuitive no-code, drag-and-drop system.
